In accordance with the resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, 22 March is celebrated every year as World Water Day under different thematic titles. The theme of World Water Day 2026 has been designated as “Water and Humanity.” Within this framework, in order to raise awareness of the importance of water in human life, particularly among younger generations, and to enhance knowledge on the theme of “Water and Humanity,” a Short Film, Poster, and Photography Competition has been organized. The competition is open to participation by all interested individuals. Detailed information regarding the terms of participation, competition schedule, and evaluation process is provided in the attached announcement. Following the evaluation, the poster deemed appropriate among the awarded entries will be printed and distributed nationwide. In this regard, it is kindly requested that the competition be announced to all academic and administrative staff as well as students, and that the submitted posters be carefully packaged to prevent any damage and delivered by post or by hand to the Regional Directorate no later than 18 February 2026.
