Establishment
Following a decision taken at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting on April 17, 2014, the Department of Office Services and Secretarial Services and the Office Management and Executive Assistant Program within the Vocational School of Social Sciences were transferred to Develi Hüseyin Şahin Vocational School in accordance with Articles 7/d-2 and 7/h of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880. Our Vocational School continues its education at the Develi Seyrani Campus, affiliated with the Kayseri University Rectorate, established by Law No. 7141 on the Amendment of the Higher Education Law and Certain Laws and Decree Laws, published in the Official Gazette No. 30425 dated May 18, 2018. In accordance with the decision of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Executive Board dated May 27, 2025, the name of the "Office Management and Executive Assistant" associate degree program was changed to "Office Technologies and Data Management" to adapt to digital transformation processes.
Degree Earned
Those who successfully complete all academic and practical qualifications specified within the program will be awarded an Associate Degree in Office Technologies and Data Management.
Program Profile
The Office Technologies and Data Management Program is a two-year higher education program that aims to train qualified professionals equipped with the knowledge and skills appropriate to modern needs, competent in office software and data management, open to innovation, and ethical and socially responsible. Courses in the program curriculum have been updated to align with the digital transformation process and enriched with content designed to develop digital competencies.
Employment Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of our program find employment opportunities in various job roles, including office managers, administrative assistants, office personnel, data operators, and managers. They can be employed in private sector organizations requiring all types of office management, as well as in public institutions and organizations.
Transfer to Further Studies
Students who graduate from this program are eligible to transfer to undergraduate programs determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) upon passing the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
