The Regional Development Journal, published since 2023 by the General Directorate of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology, is a peer-reviewed and scientific journal that follows an open access policy. It has successfully completed the TRDizin evaluation processes and has been indexed.

The journal aims to promote scientific studies in the fields of regional development and regional policy, enhance the effectiveness of policy design processes, and strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing by closely following the global agenda in the context of regional development.

The Regional Development Journal is published twice a year (April and October). Adopting a double-blind peer review model, all articles published in the journal are freely accessible to readers.
