CLİCK HERE for the Course Exemption (Credit Transfer) Application Guide.

WHAT İS COURSE EXEMPTİON (CREDİT TRANSFER)?

It is the process of being exempt from courses in your current program by having previously completed and successfully passed courses—taken at another higher education institution or through summer school, special student status, or exchange programs such as Farabi or Erasmus—recognized and credited toward your current curriculum.

Horizontal Transfer:Students who have enrolled in our university through Horizontal Transfer (either via Central Placement Score or GPA-based transfer) and wish to have their previously completed courses recognized must submit an application. Students who transferred based on GPA are required to apply for course exemption (credit transfer) and complete the exemption process before proceeding with course registration.

WHEN İS COURSE EXEMPTİON (CREDİT TRANSFER) APPLİED?

According to Article 9 of the Kayseri University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation, “Students who wish to be exempt from courses they have previously taken and successfully completed at another higher education institution must apply to the relevant unit within 10 (ten) academic working days from the course registration period.”

Based on this provision, students will be able to submit their course exemption (credit transfer) applications between February 16, 2026 (08:30) and February 27, 2026 (17:30, end of working hours).

IMPORTANT: Since the Course Exemption (Credit Transfer) process is carried out only once after university enrollment, students who do not apply will be deemed to have waived their exemption rights.

Objections regarding exemption and credit transfer results must be submitted to the relevant unit within 5 (five) academic working days from the date the results are finalized.

Following the credit transfer process conducted by the commission, students are required to take and successfully complete any courses for which they have not been granted exemption, in accordance with the finalized transfer report.
