Applications are ongoing for the short film competition to be held as part of the “2nd IKCU Film Festival,” which will take place on April 20–25, 2026, organized by the Media and Communication Society and hosted by İzmir Katip Çelebi University.

The festival aims to encourage professionals, amateurs, and students interested in the art of cinema, provide an opportunity to showcase their works to audiences, and enhance inter-university cultural interaction.

The competition will be held in various categories such as fiction, documentary, student, animation, and artificial intelligence. All associate and undergraduate students of your university, as well as academic and administrative staff interested in cinema, are eligible to participate.
